No Tchouaméni, Kroos against Liverpool, Benzema returns

Real Madrid will face Liverpool tomorrow in an important match in the Champions League. The club had to receive bad news before taking the field.




 

Two midfielders, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Toni Kroos, are absent due to injuries. But the news of relief prompted Karim Benzema to return to the team.

Real Madrid will play at Anfield. Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has already announced a squad of 23 ahead of the match. In the absence of Chuameni and Kroos, Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Mario Martin, Sergio Arribas and Dani Ceballos will join Luka Modric in the midfield.

Meanwhile, Benzema was withdrawn in the second half against Elche last Wednesday due to a hamstring injury. Later, the French striker was not fielded against Osasuna. Fears about him being available against Liverpool are now over.
